Moly based grease products are not all the same. There are synthetic liquid moly additives that have a use but will break down depending on how they are being used.
Some companies advertise a moly based grease but they use a liquid synthetic which breaks down before it is able to accomplish the protective aspects that a normal moly grease will achieve.
Liquid synthetic moly has its uses in an engine oil but it should never be placed in a grease as it will break down and lose all its abilities to accomplish the protection a moly was intended for. You want a true mined powder form of moly in your premium grease when it is required by the manufacturer.
It is important that if your equipment specifies a moly based grease that the right one is used. Having a high percentage of moly compared to other companies and using the dry moly additive will ensure that the grease accomplishes the protective tasks it was engineered to perform.
A good manufactured Moly grease will also extend the life of the different components of your equipment that rotates and articulates.
A good moly based grease will also be able to withstand both hot and cold temperatures and reduce friction as your equipment has extreme pressure applied to it while it is moving.
A premium moly grease will save you money in less equipment downtime, fewer replacement parts, fewer times needed to add grease, and fewer labor costs.
Let us show you how our moly grease outperforms in the industry and protects exactly as it claims to do. We have seen that not all manufacturer claims measure up.
